The Robbe-Futaba Type 3PK Super 2,4 Gig. is the new version of the worldwide succesfull 3-PK. Important improvents are made, such as;  Redesigned Keypad — with a large, easy-to-use jog button. This one button moves the cursor left, right, up or down; pushing the button in then accesses the function, Vibrating Alert System — useful for monitoring battery levels, indicating Power On and Timer Up, as well as lap navigation, Expanded Driver Menu — featuring three levels and a “Big” menu especially for drivers of 1/5 scale and larger vehicles, Throttle Mode Select — for choosing from two servo neutral points: 70/30, which offers more acceleration and less brake for nitro modelers, or the equal acceleration/brake 50/50 mode for electrics, Double the Model Memory — up to 20 models, while still being compatible with the CAMPac module that can add another 10 models, Double the Model Memory — up to 20 models, while still being compatible with the CAMPac module that can add another 10 models. Very important is the new 2,4 Gig system that will choose one of the free, of the 76, channels. When switching on the transmitter all 76 channels are scanned for a free one, without interfering with others. By the big memorybank, (20 seperate places), you can programm  each modell without programming them each time again.  

A special feature of this system is the variable-height steering wheel; the wheel can be positioned on either side of the top part of the transmitter, or - with an adaptor - can be set at the same height as the pistol grip trigger. Placing the "throttle" and "steering" axes at the same level produces ergonomic advantages for the steering function. The transmitter retains proven components such as rocker buttons for easy access when the car is running, and the integral digital trimmer in the pistol handle. The large back-lite LCD graphics screen displays the comprehensive functions clearly, ensuring simple operation. Naturally, the core of the system is the software which provides wide-ranging adjustment facilities and mixer functions, enabling the user to set up the system perfectly to match any model; the data can be stored individually in the ten internal model memories. The internal memoriebank can hold up to 20 models, this can be expanded by another 10 models by the optional 16K Campac module. The software includes new brake mixers for convenient adjustment of the front and rear brakes, with variable delay and front-rear balance. The essential brake mixer set-up functions can be assigned to any of the adjustors or trims, allowing you to adjust the brake set-up while the car is on the track. Gasoline engine cars have a time lag before the clutch and brakes become effective. The throttle acceleration function reduces this time lag.
•Throttle speed (SPEED);
Sudden trigger operation on a slippery road surface will only cause the tires to spin and the model to not accelerate smoothly. By setting the throttle speed function, operation can be performed smoothly and easily. It also suppresses battery consumption.
•Steering speed (SPEED);
The servo operating speed (direction that suppresses the maximum speed) can be adjusted to fit the user's preferences of the servo speed.
•Racing timer (TIMER);
•Digital trim;
The current trim position is displayed on the LCD screen. The operating amount of 1 step can also be adjusted. Trim operation has no effect on the maximum travel of the steering and throttle servos.
•Function select trim/dial function (TRIM DIAL);
This function assigns functions to dials (digital trim, digital dial). The step amount and operating direction can also be adjusted. Trim positioning at each model call is necessary because all the dials are digital.
•Function select switch function (SWITCH);
This function assigns functions to 2 switches. The operating direction can also be set
•ESC-Link Function (MC-LINK);
This is a dedicated function which allows setting of the contents of the Link software. E.g Futaba speed controller (ESC), MC950CR, MC850C, MC851C, MC602C, MC402CR etc, and variable frequency and other data charges by T4PL.
