Toen de ontwikkelaars van HPI de Baja buggy introduceerde had niemand het vermoeden dat het zo een groot succes zou worden. Overal op de wereld was iedereen enthousiast, en waren de tests meer dan bevredigend. Shops waren snel door de voorraad heen en iedereen begon tuning delen te maken. De feedback vertelde ons dat iedereen veel plezier aan de Baja beleefde, en beter was ontvangen dan we verwacht hadden. En om een verbeterde versie op de markt te brengen van een inmiddels legendarische auto was moeilijker dan gedacht, "Never change a winning team";, maar de verbeteringen zijn er nu toch, die kunt u Hier bekijken!!

De Baja 5B 2.0 is sneller, heeft een betere acceleratie en wegligging, en is leverbaar in drie fantastische designs. De geweldige gun metal geanodiseerde delen van de 5T nu ook op deze 2.0 versie. De kap is leverbaar in maar liefst DRIE verschillende kleuren combinaties; Grijs/wit/rood, Blauw/wit/rood, Rood/wit/grijs. De Baja 5B 2.0 heeft de volgende verbeteringen ondergaan; Standaard een 3 kanaals 2.4 Gig DSSS zender systeem met inbebouwde fail safe, snellere motor, nieuwe schokdemperbrug voor meer vering en betere wegligging, VVC/HD dempers voor en achter, en een betere overbrenging voor meer acceleratie en hogere topsnelheid. De Baja 5B 2.0 is compleet gebouwd, inclusief complete besturing set, accu's, lader voor de zender, reserve onderdelen en gereedschap. When the designers at HPI released the original Baja buggy to the public, we didn't realize the absolute storm of popularity it would enjoy. Racers everywhere loved it, reviews from all over the world absolutly glowed with enthusiasm, shops ran out of stock and brand new companies sprung up to make wild hop-ups for this one-of-a-kind machine. We had just as much fun tracking all the praise as we did for the Savage monster truck! Most encouraging of all, though, we heard back from customers everywhere about how much they enjoy their Baja, which is the best thing we could possibly expect. After all that, you'll understand that when it comes to updating such a legendary car, you can't mess with the magic too much: we wanted to give our fans more of the same, without going overboard.
